Nathaniel “Ned” Nova is a handsome solid American revolution and Katie’s soulmate. Born in 1978, he originally had an inline 6 cylinder 4.1 liter and he had that engine all the way up until his big make over. Ned now has a Chevy 350 with a 4-bolt main, a M-20 4-speed with a Borg Warner clutch and a Hurst Competition Plus shifter, a COMP Cams camshaft, Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley 650cfm carburetor, Mallory distributor, Hedman Hedders attached to a 2 ½-inch exhaust and MSD wires. Katie was born and raised on Long Island, New York . Proud of her natural gingery locks and fiery personality to match them, she’s on a mission to change the world as we know it. Using her knowledge gained from her B.F.A. in photography, her passion for cars (mostly Ned) and her determination to give her life a purpose to be proud of, Katie started “Beauty’s Got Muscle”. It began with her filming & editing herself and Ned, but as the project grew (and the reach of her arm didn’t) she enlisted the help of a good friend and talented cameraman, Kevin.
Kevin is the head cameraman, talented editor and great friend. Not only does he willingly film Katie’s crazy antics, but he has to be around her a lot as well which takes a great deal of energy and patience since Katie almost never stops moving or talking.
