Warming up

If there is ever a drought, all I would need to do to end it is give Ned a bath because for some reason it always rains right after. He’s like a five year old boy in more ways than one; entertaining, and impossible to keep clean.

In other news, Ned and I will be making our first long trip together ever towards the end of the month. We gotta feel out how he handles the miles before I decide to head out across the country. I’m sure we’ll do fine, but I’d just like to work him into it. If you don’t warm up before you run, your more likely to pull a muscle, so we plan on warming up like it’s going out of style.

On this day as our glorious memorial to American heros, Ned gave a jump to a toyota. Once again, America bails out another country’s mistake.

Truth be told, the toyota actually didn’t need the jump. It was a loose starter cable that was causing the problem, but the fact of the matter is Ned, American muscle, started on his own and was there to help if needed.

You’re Welcome World.

The “Speck” is no speck.

Recently I’ve noticed Ned and I have a little friend/ welcomed squatter. I’m not really sure what kind of bug he is, but I’m sure he’s no bug to me or Ned, pun intended. He’s more of a mascot. If he was a wrestler, his name would be “The Speck”. 70 mph and still on the side of Ned deserves some kind of heroic recognition. I did escort him into a cup inside Ned afterwards for the ride home because I’m not heartless, and would panic for him otherwise. After our first meeting, we’ve seen “The Speck” on 3 different occasions. I like to believe it’s always him because he always is hanging on the driver side window, and I also like to believe in believing. “The Speck” has a personality to him, and with out a doubt resilience. Ned and I look forward to future visits.
